Is Britney Starving Herself To Look Skinny On The X Factor?

Britney Spears has already lost a considerable amount of weight over the past few months, but The Daily Mail reports that the pop princess is determined to slim down even more before she performs on The X Factor on Saturday. Sources tell The Daily Mail that Britney is going to "extreme measures" to look skinny, and she's reportedly going to bed hungry and "dieting so hard she's suffering from insomnia, anxiety, flushes and shakes." That doesn't sound like fun! Other online reports claim Britney is trying to lose seven pounds in the next few days, and dad Jamie and those close to her "are trying to get her to eat more, but Britney is determined not to be criticized for having any extra bulk." Guess she doesn't want to have a repeat of her disastrous 2007 VMAs performance, but given how great she's been looking lately, we don't see how that could possibly happen! Could Britney stand to lose a few lbs? Or is she ok the way she is?

Britney's Busy Day

After Britney Spears left Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday, she headed home with her entourage, and of course, her father Jamie. We know Brit's not a fan of the paps anymore, but you'd think she would be a little bit happier than this! I mean, she's got an album coming out, a comeback tour, numerous TV appearances, and she's looking fantastic, so what's there to be miffed about? Brit stayed at home for about an hour, and then she headed to the International Dance Academy in Hollywood. The pop princess has really been busting her butt lately, so we're definitely eager to check out her new dance moves! Nice one B.

When we caught Britney getting a frap at Starbucks yesterday, we couldn't help but notice how much the pop princess is looking like her former self - and in a totally good way! Remember the hot, blonde Britney with abs of steel? The one who loved prancing around onstage in tight pleather corsets? Well, by the looks of it, Britney Spears is ready for her return, and she wants this comeback more than anything. Just like she sings on the title track on her upcoming album, "All eyes on me in the center of the ring / Just like a circus," all eyes will be on Britney in the weeks to come. Think she's finally ready to reclaim her throne? We'll find out soon enough.

TICKET-HOLDING BRIT FANS TURNED AWAY FROM PRIVATE SCREENING!

Britney fans got DISSED and were PISSED today at the so-called fans' private screening of the upcoming "Britney: For The Record." SOME fans were whisked away by private shuttle buses to take them to the secret location of Ren Mar Studios for an early showing of the documentary ... OTHER fans were left behind ... After filling out a lottery form that asked for height, weight and body type, 200 lucky Brit fans were chosen to receive tickets, but it seems the organizers over-booked so some fans were given the shaft. Here's how one fan, A.J., described the scene:

Dear X17, I got confirmed tickets for the Britney Spears screening today, I lined up early since I live 4 hours from Los Angeles, security patted us down as we waited in line. Kevin and Darrel, who work for 1iota.com, went through the line and handpicked blonde girls, who were wearing high heels and short skirts to go to the front of the line and get on the bus. Some of the other girls who wore pants and leggings were upset and brought it up to their attention, and they told them that they should wait for another bus. Another bus came and picked up half of the remaining people, took them around the block and
promised that they would be picked up again in 5 minutes after being dropped off again. They promised them wristbands to the event. Also, 1iota sent us and email stating that we could each bring up to 3 friends since try cleared enough space with the Fire Marshall. Why would they want us to bring more
people if they didn't have enough space for the confirmed ticket holders in the first place? Kevin and Darrel told us that it was "First Come First Serve." But why'd they let all the "Hot" girls go in front of everyone who had come from different states, and towns? Also, on our ticket it days that our parking would be paid for. However, that was not the case, only the people who got wristbands received paid parking. Also, the people from britneyspears.com were there and tried contacting their editor to help us. But try couldn't and left. People were angry, not at Britney but at 1iota and MTV for promising us the tickets and leaving us there. It is discrimination for them to handpick people based in their gender, weight, and ethnicity. We are all furious that 1iota got away with discriminating people. Hopefully these people will be reprimanded and that we can be accommodated. Thanks,

X17 XCLUSIVE: Did Brit's Dad Drive Drunk?

Jamie Spears spent the better part of last night sitting at Big Dean's Cafe in Santa Monica drinking by himself, according to X17 photographers -- they say Brit's dad had more than 6 large draught beers. In between drinks, Jamie typed away on his blackberry, chomped on chewing tobacco and at one point, he left the bar for several minutes to take a phone call. Though there's nothing wrong with enjoying a cold one (or three), thats a lot of booze, even for a guy like Jamie. Not to mention, Jamie is a recovering alcoholic. Later in the evening, after ordering some food to go, Jamie decided to call it a night, but this is where the story gets interesting. We figured there would be a driver in the white Escalade parked outside, but as we followed Jamie to the car, he opened the door and climbed right into the driver's seat! So what was he doing driving? Is everything okay in Britneyland? Think he can handle his alcohol?

Kevin Spends Time With Britney And The Boys!

An hour, to be exact! Brit's ex-hubby drove to her Summit home this afternoon, and rather than grabbing the boys and speeding off, K-Fed spent some time catching up with the pop princess before he took Jayden James and Sean Preston for the weekend. Brit got home from Louisiana yesterday, so it's good to see the former couple visiting with one another, even if it's only for 60 minutes. And who knows, maybe someday they'll get back together?

Hungry For Meat Loaf And More Leftovers?

Yesterday we caught a whole bunch of celebs out and about, but since they're not exactly the Britneys or Rob Pattinsons of X17online, we decided to lump them together onto one plate. We caught Meat Loaf and Oscar-winner Sidney Poitier at LAX, Jack Black and Gretchen Mol in NYC, as well as Wanda Sykes lunching in LA. Hmm...wonder what they've been up to? Do you guys even care about any of these people? Should we just skip it next time?

X17 was the only one to catch Brit last night in a car, leaving the chic Beverly Park neighborhood (where Robbie Williams just bought a house for $26 million), after having attended a Halloween party at her pal (and Palms owner) George Maloof's house.
