Favorite Couples Of '09!

Krasinski pic courtesy NBC MTV released their list of what the thought were the Best Couples of '09 and while they were a little off on Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner (who just broke up!) we definitely like some of their other choices: Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart -- They denied, denied, denied being a couple all year but their chemistry onscreen was undeniable! We snapped them holding hands on a Twilight tour of Europe, but since then they were careful to remain separated! Is 2010 the year they'll finally come out as a couple? John Krasinski & Emily Blunt -- He's the adorable Office guy-next-door and she's the beautiful Brit who vacillates between comedy and drama. After less than a year of dating, they got engaged this summer! Kind of an odd couple, but let's hope this lasts! Katy Perry & Russell Brand -- They only started dating after the VMA's in September, but Brand's already bought Katy a love nest and is rumored to have proposed over Xmas! Ok, it's no surprise that MTV would want to promote one of their own, but Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt? Really??? This is a pretty short list -- what about Britney and Jason??? Who else should have been on the list?

Report: Britney Spears Had an Abortion

She's shaved her head, flashed her crotch and married her high school friend during a drunken night in Las Vegas.

But there's one Britney Spears scandal that the press has been in the dark about... until now, if you believe The National Enquirer.

The supermarket tabloid reports Spears reunited with ex-husband Kevin Federline two years ago. He allegedly knocked her up, only to deny being the father when confronted with the pregnancy, and Spears went through with an abortion as a result.

Moreover, she's still dealing with the repercussions of that decision.

During a recent meltdown, a source told the newspaper Britney cried "I killed my baby!”

The abortion leaves Spears as a downtrodden mess during the holidays, as this anonymous insider said:

“Britney fights depression every Christmas season, but this Christmas has been one of the worst for her."

Might Spears want to include this as yet another ridiculous gossip story written about her in 2009? It's possible.

Should you leave Britney some cheerful holiday messages even if the allegation is false? Yes. The troubled singer likely needs encouragement from her fans anyway.

Naughty Or Nice: Britney Spears' Kickass Comeback Tour

Though the previous two years have been rather tumultuous for the pop princess (I don't think we even need to get into it!), 2009 was all about getting back on track and looking fabulous while doing it. Even though she rocked some rather risque outfits onstage, it was a Circus, and everyone who went told us it was one of the best Britney shows they had ever seen. Whether she was lip synching belting it out onstage or flaunting her toned bod in a bikini, this was Britney's time to shine and reclaim her career. And it also looks like she picked up a new love interest on the way too...so will we hear wedding bells in 2010? Now that Brit's back in the states and getting her life back together, what will she do next?

K-Fed Takes Second Job as Border Guard

Just kidding. It's for a movie. But we know you believed us, which tells you a lot about the great Kevin Federline, a.k.a. the former Mr. Britney Spears.

K-Fed was originally supposed to play himself in the new American Pie movie, but after reconsidering it, Pie honchos felt that would tarnish the brand.

Again, kidding. But totally realistic.

"They called me up and asked if I was interested," Federline said. "I was up for a different part originally, but then they didn't want me playing myself."

"They thought it'd be funnier for me to be a Canadian border guard."

They were right. Somehow it just works.

One day of shooting later, Federline was transformed, donning a hat, uniform and badge for his cameo in American Pie Presents: The Book of Love.

The one-time backup dancer and aspiring rapper, whose fat ass actually lost weight recently on Celebrity Fit Club, is ready and available for work.

"If anybody has any more cameos – or actual roles they want me to be in – that would be great," the 31-year-old father of four says.

American Pie Presents: The Book of Love comes straight to DVD tomorrow.

Britney Has Jason Drive Her Around Until She Falls Asleep!

Huh?! Apparently Britney Spears is a bit of an insomniac, and she's been having her assistant Jason drive her around at night so she can fall asleep. They go around without stopping and return home, and when we snapped these shots of Brit passed out in the passenger seat of her G Wagen the other night, Jason told photogs, "Please don’t flash her, you’re going to wake her up!" They left for NY last night, and we're guessing Jason is going to have a harder time doing this in the Big Apple... Crazy Brit!

Britney Spears makes #6 on MTV’s “Woman of the Year” list

MTV has put together a “Woman of the Year” list. Britney Spears came in at #6, although I would have expected her to be higher up considering all that she accomplished in 2009. Still, being six is nothing to sneeze at and Britney is very deserving! She had an international tour that sold out repeatedly, number one singles, a number one album, great videos, and she even managed to include her sons on her tour so that she wouldn’t be separated from them for long periods – a great woman AND mom!

X17 XCLUSIVE - Britney's "Sick" Of Jason!

We're wondering why Britney and Jason keep spending the night out! I mean Brit's got a beautiful mansion in Calabasas, but these two keep shacking up in Hollywood hotels AND we keep catching these two bickering at each other... At Fred Segal the other day, Brit was yelling at Jason for leaving her alone in the store cafe while he chatted outside on his cell phone. Then on Monday, the two took a spin in Britney's ride, never stopped anywhere, and then went back to the Mondrian where they spent the night. The mood in the car looked super tense ... And then yesterday the couple hotel'd it at the Chateau Marmont. Again, they came out, drove around, and went back to the hotel without stopping. Britney was visibly upset and she was crying to someone on the phone. Our photographer on the scene tells us this:

"Jason wasn't much comfort to Britney. In fact it looked like the two of them had been fighting. Britney keeps him on a short leash -- if you didn't know it, you'd this he was her personal assistant. She's always annoyed with him for doing something wrong or not to her liking. This has been brewing for a few weeks now. It just seems like she's getting sick of him."

Dayum! So, trouble in paradise or a simple lovers' quarrel? How much longer do you think Brit and Jason will last?

Britney Spears in Billboard’s top ten artists of the decade

Britney Spears grabbed a high spot on Billboard’s Artists of the decade list! This isn’t a big surprise to me, Britney has been a huge hit her entire career. Not even her breakdown was enough to stop her from being a musical sensation. The only surprise for me was that she ranked number eight when I thought she would have been closer to the top. Billboard wrote this about Britney:

Frances Bean Cobain No Longer Under Custody of Crazy Mom Courtney Love

Courtney Love is insane. That's common knowledge among music and gossip fans. But this time, her antics may have led to serious consequences.

The troubled rock star has lost legal custody of daughter Frances Bean Cobain, her only child with late husband Kurt Cobain, according to reports.

It's unclear what prompted the legal change of Frances Bean's custody status, which is confirmed in documents filed Friday in L.A. Superior Court.

Maybe Court's complete lack of coherent thoughts lately?

Love's Facebook and Twitter pages have recently devolved into rambling, incomprehensible diatribes, though, leading THG to question her sanity.

We're talking even more than we otherwise would.

Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen, Edward Norton, trustees of her daughter's trust fund, Lindsay Lohan Britney Spears - no one is safe from Love's rants.

But 17-year-old Frances Bean Cobain is safe, at least for now, thanks to a ruling that named Kurt Cobain's mother and sister as legal guardians.

As guardians of Frances Bean Cobain, Wendy O'Connor and Kimberly Cobain are in charge of her education, living situation, health care and finances.

There was no end date set for this arrangement, but either Love will regain custody per court order or Frances will cease being a minor in August.

Love was not present for the decision. Her publicist, Alan Nierob, who really needs to get her Facebook page under control, denied further comment.

A lawyer for Kurt Cobain's mother and sister said this is a private family matter and no statement would be issued on the reason behind the move.

K-Fed Loses Weight, Retains Girlfriend

Something strange surfaced on an L.A. golf course late last week:

A respectable-looking Kevin Federline! Well, relatively at least.

The dirtbag ex-husband of Britney Spears has been eating his way through monthly five-figure spousal support checks she writes him with a new, rotund physique this year, packing on 75-100 pounds (no joke) in the last 12 months.

But the aspiring rapper has gotten his act together and shed 50 pounds as a contestant on the next season of VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, airing in January.

Britney's In Such A Rush To Get To Starbucks, She Runs A Red Light!

Oops! Thankfully she didn't crash into anyone, but still! I'd be a bit more careful than that if I was driving a brand new BMW! After shopping on Robertson and showing off a weave-less 'do (loves it!), Britney Spears and her bodyguard headed to the closest Starbucks for an early evening pick-me-up. But rather than ordering her coffee and leaving, Britney took a time out in the bathroom and called the police! The officers arrived and escorted Britney to her car, and while everyone behaved themselves, we have to wonder why the cops were called at that point in time. Wasn't Brit shopping on paparazzi central just a few hours earlier? You'd think she would have wanted a police escort then too! Make up your mind girl! Or whoever is making these decisions these days...

If you listen to music today, you're bound to hear some if not most artists aided by Auto-Tune, a phase vocoder that corrects pitch in vocal performances.

Thus, it has enabled individuals with no ability to sing, such as Kanye West, Heidi Montag and Britney Spears, among many others, to pretend they can!

In addition to correcting inaccuracies, auto-tuning vocoders can also be used to amusingly distort a human voice if pitch is dramatically raised or lowered.

Using this technology, you can turn anything into a good song. That said, below is a video detailing the year that was: synched up and perfectly in tune!

Eminem Has No Love For Lambert

Uh oh, looks like Eminem's at it again... MTV reports that several sites, including ThisIs50.com have gotten a hold of the lyrics for Eminem's new song "Elevator," and it goes something like this: "Sorry, Lance [Bass], Mr. Lambert and Aiken ain't gonna make it / They get so mad, when I call them both fake / It's all these f*cking voices in my head, I can't take it / Someone shut that f*cking baby up, before I shake it." While it seems like a lot of f-bombs, upon closer inspection, it looks like Eminem tried to pull a Britney style play on words, as Towleroad.com has noted, "fake it's" sounds phonetically like a homophobic slur that we've heard the rapper use before. When MTV News contacted a label rep for Eminem yesterday, there was no comment and official lyrics for the song were not available at press time. So what does Adam Lambert think of all this? He tweeted, "Wow, Eminem mentioned me in a song?! I must be doing something right!? Even if he used the 'F word,' whatever." However, shortly after that he said, "Oh, he says 'fake it.' My bad." Think this is all just a big coincidence, or is Eminem trying to do what Britney Spears did with "If You Seek Amy"? I bet Em is livid that we're comparing him to the pop princess! I guess this rules out an Adam / Eminem collaboration?
