If Nickelodeon wants to be the safe haven it has always promised America's parents, it will cut its ties with Jamie Lynn Spears. It cannot have as one of its most prominent faces an unmarried 16-year-old who announces her pregnancy on the cover of a magazine with a figurative shrug of "Oh well, whatever."
